How much does it cost?
The bonus for the purchase of an electric bike depends on your choice of bike:
- For an electrically-assisted bicycle: 50 % of the purchase price up to €500
- For a cargo bike without electric assistance: 50 % of the purchase price up to €500
- For a cargo bike with electric assistance: 50 % of the purchase price up to 600 €.
- For a folding bike (with or without electric assistance): 50 % of the purchase price, up to a maximum of €500.
- For an adapted bicycle: 50 % of the remaining cost (after deduction of local aid, reimbursements from health insurance, mutual insurance or other organizations, which must be requested as a priority), up to a maximum of €1,200.
Can this aid be combined with others?
Yes, many municipalities offer assistance with the purchase of an electric bike. For example, the city of Paris offers 33% of the purchase price, up to a maximum of 400€, Sceaux 100€ for accessories, which can be combined with regional aid, and Fontenay up to 400€, up to a maximum of 70% of the purchase price. These local subsidies are cumulative with the Île-de-France Mobilités bonus.

Bike subsidy in Paris
How much is this aid?
The amount of the subsidy is set at 25 % of the price of the bike, including tax, and is capped at 400 euros. It is important to note that, unlike other local authority grants, the Agglopolys grant cannot be combined with that of the French government.
Can this aid be combined with others?
No, a number of criteria deemed essential for applying for the national supplement were not met when applying for the Blois subsidy. Similarly, the ceiling for the French government's bicycle subsidy is set at 200 euros. This means that even the total amount of the two subsidies cannot exceed 200 euros.
Who is eligible?
The Blois e-bike subsidy scheme is open to all residents of the Agglopolys area. To be eligible, your address must be in one of the 48 communes of the agglomeration.
In addition to the housing requirement, it is also important to meet the following conditions:
- Be a natural person. At present, there is no offer of bicycle assistance to companies for the purchase of a VAE ;
- Be of legal age ;
- Not having received similar assistance before;
- Acquire a bike for utilitarian use, such as commuting or shopping. In other words, your bike shouldn't just be used for walking and other leisure activities.
There are no income conditions to qualify for assistance from the Agglopolys local authority.
How do I get help?
To take advantage of the Blois city council's subsidy for the purchase of an electric bike, you'll need to choose an eligible bike. All bikes must comply with European Directive 2002/24/EC and be type-approved.
In addition to these criteria, the bike must be purchased from a partner store. To date, Agglopolys has 12 boutiques-collaborateurs throughout the Blois area.
You'll also need to be responsive to requests from the department in charge of applying this system. Depending on the context, it may be useful to provide other documents deemed essential. Signing an assistance agreement will also be part of the formalities required.

In 2006, the Toulon Provence Méditerranée Metropolis decided to award aid for the purchase of electric bikes and electric kits to encourage residents to reduce their car journeys. From 2015 to 2019, 5451 applications were received, of which 4049 electric bike owners benefited from the aid.
This scheme is available for the purchase of a VAE or electrically-assisted bicycle that complies with European regulation EN 15194, and for the purchase of an electric bicycle kit up to a maximum value of €150. The bike or kit must be new and have a certificate of approval.

How much is this aid?
The amount of the subsidy depends on the type of bike and is valid until December 31, 2022. It is a maximum of 30 % of the price (bike only or bike + helmet and/or lock), up to a limit of :- 100 € for a classic bike (with possible cumulation of aid for the purchase of a trailer)
