(1 review)

L'cycle shelter Closed cycling secures bicycles with a closed steel volume, 2 mm solid sheet metal walls and wooden touches Douglas to keep a more qualitative reading on site visible.

Its design favors controlled visibility: the bikes are not exposed from the outside, but the shelter remains neat and integrated. The ribbed steel tray roof, the folded sheet metal gutter and the drainage in the rear posts facilitate daily operation.

Key assets:safety, integrated water drainage, maintenance-free structure. See a similar model.

#1 CLEAN DISCHARGE

The water is guided into therear posts

The ribbed steel tray roof collects the water in a folded steel sheet gutter, then the drainage goes down into the rear posts.

The benefit on the ground is simple: water is not randomly discharged onto facades or access points. The exit point is more localized, easier to anticipate in the layout, and more comfortable in transit areas.

  • Integrated gutter:the water is collected before being evacuated.
  • Descent into poles:less visible runoff around the shelter.
  • Localized output:useful for keeping the surrounding area cleaner on a daily basis.

#2 CONTROLLED VISIBILITY

Controlled visibility, without bicyclesexposed

Closed Cycling plays on a precious balance: the shelter is closed and secure, but it remains architecturally legible thanks to its wooden inserts Douglas.

The solid sheet metal walls limit inward visibility. The bicycles, VAE and equipment are not directly exposed from the outside, which reinforces the feeling of security for users and simplifies management of the site.

  • Solid walls:the view of the bicycles is severely limited.
  • Secure door:controllable access depending on your organization.
  • Neater image:Douglas wood avoids a too technical or too cold look.

#3 MAINTENANCE FREE

A steel structure and finishes designed forlast

Closed cycling limits maintenance constraints: structure in powder-coated galvanized steel or epoxy painted steel, cladding in 2 mm sheet metal and wood Douglas.

The logic is clear for the operator: no fragile façade to repair regularly, no heavy maintenance to anticipate, and a structure designed to remain outside on company or community sites.

  • Galvanized steel:a sturdy base for the outdoors.
  • RAL of your choice:structure painted to blend in with the site.
  • Douglas:a durable wooden touch, without increasing the cost of operation.

Frequently asked questionsClosed cycling

Short answers to frame your closed bike shelter project.

Yes. It is a closed shelter with 2 mm solid sheet metal walls, door and controllable access. It is designed to limit visibility on bicycles and reserve access to authorized users.

The ribbed steel tray roof directs the water towards a folded sheet metal gutter. The water then flows down the rear posts, allowing for a cleaner, more localized exit at the base of the shelter.

It is designed to remain simple to operate: powder-coated galvanized steel structure or epoxy painted steel, 2 mm sheet metal cladding and Douglas. Occasional cleaning may be sufficient depending on the environment, without heavy maintenance planned as on a fragile facade.

Yes, the Plus version provides a passage height of 278 cm and a total height of 310 cm. This is the version to study when the objective is to densify with double-decker racks.

A concrete slab or foundation blocks are recommended. Laying in bitumen can be studied with anchoring studs and chemical sealing, after checking the condition of the coating by our technical teams.
