Introduction to the Project
The Sénart-Fontainebleau IUT, committed to sustainable mobility, recently decided to install a bicycle shelter on its campus. The idea was to promote environmentally-friendly travel for its students and teachers, while respecting the environmental values of the campus.
Partnership with ByCommute
After much consideration, the IUT opted for an innovative solution: a bicycle shelter built from a recycled shipping container. This choice was not only practical, but also eco-responsible. By recycling a container, they were able to create a secure storage space capable of housing several dozen bikes, while giving a second life to a sturdy structure.
